Job Description:
- Inspects products and equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and Tropical Cheese plant standards.
- Follow all safety and confined space regulations.
- Checks all chemical, foot sanitizers, hand wash stations, CIP1, CIP2 and foaming units.
- Set up cheese vats, De-whey belt and lines to be washed.
- Hand wash cheese presses, cheese table and cheese cutters.
- Sprays machines, tanks, foaming units, and conveyors with water to loosen and remove dirt or other foreign matter.
- Scrubs machines, tanks, tables, pans, bowls, compartments, and conveyors. Rinses articles with water, and dries them with compressed air. Scrubs floors and walls.
- Connects hoses and lines to pump and starts pump to circulate cleaning and sterilizing solution through hoses and lines.
- Scrubs interior of disconnected pipes, valves, and spigots, and gauges, and meters.
