Tropical Crema Salvadoreña is a Grade ‘A’ fresh cream. Crema is an essential part of El Salvador’s cuisine, so you will find it in a wide variety of recipes.
Salvadoran Cream is used to top traditional dishes such as Salvadoran pupusas, tamales or enchiladas. It is also used to make sauces for pasta or meats, such as chicken in cream, spaghetti with cream, or even a soup, such as mariscada con crema (seafood soup with cream).
Some vegetarian dishes with Crema Salvadoreña are pipianes en crema (squash with cream) and cauliflower with cream, which are delicious and easy to make.
