Molletes are a delicious Mexican dish consumed in all homes and restaurants in the country. They are made with the traditional bolillo bread and served as an open sandwich, with fried black beans and Oaxaca Cheese, which melts deliciously when heated in the oven.

Surely you have these ingredients at home! You can use a baguette, refried beans and Tropical Oaxaca Cheese to get the authentic flavor and melting perfection. In this recipe, we add Tropical Mexican Chorizo to give it extra flavor, protein and a touch of spiciness. Only 5 minutes in the oven will make them irresistible and crunchy. And of course, top with pico de gallo, freshly made with tomato, onion, cilantro and jalapeño or serrano peppers.

Its easy preparation and ingredients make molletes a favorite for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack whenever the craving strikes.
