Ripe Plantains with Crema & Queso Fresco

They are naturally sweet, but mostly served with savory food, adding a unique flavor.

In this simple and tasty plantain recipe, we let the flavors and ingredients speak for themselves. Fried ripe plantains are topped with Tropical Queso Fresco and Crema. Enjoy them as an appetizer or snack; everyone will love them!



  1. In 12-inch skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot vegetable oil, cook plantain slices until well browned and golden on both sides, turning occasionally.
  2. Place cooked plantains on large platter. Sprinkle with Queso Fresco and drizzle with crema.
